We're back and we're ready to learn!! We are continuing with our winter theme in the kindergarten classroom. The weather didn't
cooperate so we will have to wait to do our Winter Walk in the
schoolyard. Here are some of the things we did today instead.
Welcome Work:
Using tweezers to pick up and sort snowballs (pompoms) into big, medium, and small
Snowflake Pattern Block Mats
Matching upper- and lower-case letters to play memory
Throwing pompoms into cups to practice our gross motor skills
Number Mats - Showing numbers in different ways
Next,
we played with our parachute and inflatable letters. The blind-folded
student had to feel around until he/she found the correct number. It
was lots of fun, and we'll be sure to play it again soon.
